Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Union County Court Docket. Reading the Tennessee court-access material or submitting a query through a linked service means you accept these conditions. Do not continue to use the resource if you disagree with them.

NO FCRA USE. Union County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a Tennessee court or government body. Neither this resource nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act decisions. Its purpose is to identify public docket resources. It is not a private investigator or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

Union County Court Docket is an independently operated reference resource. It is not part of Union County government, the Tennessee judiciary, or any clerk's office. It neither keeps official files nor has authority to retrieve records, alter settings, accept filings, or act for a court user.

The resource directs readers to Union County custodians, including the Circuit Court Clerk for Circuit and General Sessions files, the Clerk and Master for Chancery matters, and Tennessee Public Case History for appeals. Outside tools may also be linked.

2. Informational Use Only

Content describes public routes to Union County courts and Tennessee appellate records. It is informational only. An online explanation cannot replace the controlling docket, an entered order, a certified copy, or advice from a qualified lawyer. Verify case facts with the custodian of the original record.

Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 addresses access to court records. The Tennessee Public Records Act, principally Tenn. Code Ann. sections 10-7-503 and 10-7-505, governs qualifying requests to public custodians. Those authorities do not make this private website a records office or expand access to sealed, confidential, or otherwise restricted material.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the resource is conditioned on lawful, respectful conduct. You will not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Union County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not prepare consumer reports, credit reports, or background reports. The site and its advertising partners do not offer tools for employment, rental, lending, or insurance eligibility decisions. You must not use material from this resource or a linked search to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A consumer report needed for a regulated purpose must come from a provider that complies with the FCRA and other applicable law.

5. No Legal Advice

Court-access information is not legal advice and creates no attorney-client relationship. Neither the site nor its operators can interpret a Union County charge, deadline, order, remedy, or procedure for a particular case. Seek guidance from a lawyer licensed in Tennessee when legal advice is needed.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Material and site functions are supplied "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Union County dockets change as filings arrive, settings move, and orders are entered. The local trial search also publishes no complete historical-coverage or refresh guarantee. Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 and other law may restrict or redact court material. Nothing presented here is an official statement by a court. Confirm dates, status, and documents with the responsible clerk.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to the Union County Circuit Court Clerk, Clerk and Master, Tennessee Public Case History, court calendars, legal-aid resources, or commercial search providers. Each destination sets its own availability, prices, privacy practices, and terms. The site does not control or endorse those outside operations merely by linking to them.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, the site's original text, design, graphics, logo, and code belong to Union County Court Docket or its licensors. Applicable law and any written license control copying, redistribution, modification, and derivative use.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this resource or an external service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, resulting from your misuse of the resource or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Tennessee law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from use of Union County Court Docket must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised as services, practices, or legal duties change. A revised version becomes effective when posted. Continued use after posting means the updated terms apply.
